E-learning Design

E-learning design refers to using new technology and multi-media creativity tools to create and deliver learning content electronically. This type of learning can be delivered through various methods, including online courses, webinars, virtual classrooms, and digital learning packages. E-learning provides a flexible and convenient way for people to learn new skills and knowledge at their own pace. It also allows learners to access educational resources from anywhere in the world.

Within this realm, I have provided comprehensive online training solutions that encompass learning management systems (LMS), curriculum design and deployment, and learning content creation and development. By incorporating renowned models such as ADDIE, Kirkpatrick’s, and BOPPPS, I ensure a well-rounded and effective learning experience for learners.

I have utilized multiple software applications to create engaging multimedia content, including Articulate 360, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, OBS, etc. These tools enable the integration of videos, audio, graphics, and animations, catering to diverse learning environments. Please explore the following projects to understand better the impactful e-learning solutions I have developed.

Professional Development Workshop

Professional development workshops are crafted to enhance participants’ technology skills through immersive and hands-on training with various digital tools and resources. These workshops cover topics including Internet applications, social media, digital communication, and online collaboration. The primary objective is to equip participants with the necessary skills to effectively integrate technology into their work.

To enhance the comprehensiveness and effectiveness of the learning experience, I have diligently applied adult learning theory and incorporated renowned instructional models like ADDIE, Kirkpatrick’s, and BOPPPS. These models have served as valuable frameworks, assisting in the meticulous design and seamless implementation of the workshops. They have provided a structured methodology for analyzing, developing, and evaluating the progress and outcomes of the participants.

I have collaborated with the Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) Skills and Competencies Taxonomy to ensure the workshops adapt to the local working environment. This collaboration has enabled the alignment of workshop content with local working practices. The aim of tailoring the workshops to meet participants’ specific needs and requirements is to facilitate the seamless integration of technology in their professional endeavours.

K-12 Curriculum Design

Integrating new technology into K–12 curriculum design is crucial for enhancing learning outcomes and fostering student innovation, which involves utilizing various digital tools, resources, and methods such as blended learning, online platforms, educational apps, and digital assessments.

I applied pedagogical theory and collaborated with the ISTE standards, BC’s curriculum, and BC’s Digital Literacy Framework to ensure seamless integration. The goal of aligning the learning content with local teaching practices in BC was to support and empower local teachers to effectively address emerging digital challenges and leverage technology in their classrooms.
