Professional development workshops are crafted to enhance participants’ technology skills through immersive and hands-on training with various digital tools and resources. These workshops cover topics including Internet applications, social media, digital communication, and online collaboration. The primary objective is to equip participants with the necessary skills to integrate technology into their work effectively.
To ensure a comprehensive and impactful learning experience, I have employed well-established models such as ADDIE, Kirkpatrick’s, and BOPPPS. These models have guided the design and implementation of the workshops, providing a systematic approach to analyzing, developing, and evaluating participants’ progress and outcomes.
I have collaborated with the Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) Skills and Competencies Taxonomy to ensure the workshops adapt to the local working environment. This collaboration has enabled the alignment of workshop content with local working practices. The aim of tailoring the workshops to meet participants’ specific needs and requirements is to facilitate the seamless integration of technology in their professional endeavours.
